Chadwick James Kaehne

Shortly after his undergraduate studies, Mr. Kaehne founded a mental health clinic serving clients throughout Winnebago, Fond du Lac, Outagamie, and Brown counties. Mr. Kaehne established his law practice shortly after receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in Ohio. Using the philosophy grounded from his experiences from the mental health field, Mr. Kaehne believes that not only should a law firm be both reputable and aggressive in serving the needs of their clients; but also passionate, with the ability to understand the plight and anxiety each of his clients face in the midst of any type of legal matter. Nicholas J.B. Pasquale

700738-nickAfter receiving his Bachelors of Science in Political Science from the University of New York at Stony Brook, Attorney Pasquale obtained his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law. He provides exceptional legal representation for matters concerning divorce, child custody, child support, maintenance/alimony, paternity and relief under Chapter 7 and 13 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code.  Attorney Pasquale is an experienced litigator who has handled family actions ranging from basic uncontested cases to the most complicated divorce actions involving significant marital estates, business interests and substantial party incomes.

Attorney Pasquale’s thorough understanding of Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, and the interplay between those two areas, distinguishes him from most other lawyers practicing in those fields.  Attorney Pasquale is frequently consulted by other attorneys on the how bankruptcy can impact a divorce and also provides continuing legal education to judges and attorneys on the subject.

Attorney Pasquale believes most cases can be handled efficiently and favorably by creating a compassionate and cooperative atmosphere for adverse parties to negotiate fair and reasonable agreements. Kelsi Cottle

700739-kelsiMs. Kelsi Cottle received her undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. While attending Lakeland, Ms. Cottle was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Senior Honor Society and was recognized for academic success on the College’s distinguished Dean’s List. Ms. Cottle received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she graduated with a certificate of accomplishment in the area of pro bono/volunteer work. While earning her law degree, Ms. Cottle participated in a live client clinic in the area of immigration law. This allowed Ms. Cottle the opportunity to develop her skills as a strong client advocate and enhance her ability to work with other professionals to accomplish the best results for her clients. In addition, Ms. Cottle received the title of “Best Brief Writer” and “Best Oralist” in her legal writing and advocacy classes. Ms. Cottle has a passion for volunteer work and commits her services to the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) in Washington D.C. and serves on the Board of Directors for Two Left Paws Animal Sanctuary. Since working with ALDF, Ms. Cottle has participated in research projects, drafting publications and assisting with fundraising. Ms. Cottle believes very strongly in a client-focused law practice and takes pride in the fact that she keeps her clients involved every step of the way to ensure they understand the process surrounding them. Ms. Cottle is a member of the Sheboygan Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, and the State Bar of Wisconsin. Amaro Lopez

700740-amaroMr. Amaro Lopez received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Dallas. He then continued on at the University of Dallas and obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources. After pursuing a career in Human Resources, Mr. Lopez realized that in order to make a difference in people’s lives the way he wanted, he would need to advance his education. He was accepted into the law school at the University of Wisconsin Madison and earned his Juris Doctorate degree.Mr. Lopez, his wife, and their five children have resided in Winnebago County for the last 12 years. He feels a strong connection to his community and believes that a community is served best by local professionals who understand what it means to live and work in the area. Mr. Lopez believes in the simple principle that the law is in place is serve all people, in all aspects of their lives and with a variety of problems; and it is the lawyer’s job to help them through it. Mr. Lopez is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mr. Lopez practices in the areas of immigration law, bankruptcy law, criminal law, family law and estate planning.

Rachel Renae Laborde

Subsequently, she earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School. While at Marquette, Ms. Laborde excelled in her legal research and writing, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution courses and graduated with substantial experience as a mediator and a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She was also an executive board member for the Student Chapter of Association of Women in Law and an active member and competitor with the Client Skills Board/Dispute Resolution Society. Ms. Laborde is committed to delivering a client-centered, problem-solving approach where she consistently strives to reach results that provide the greatest value and long-term benefits to clients. Ms. Laborde is confident that most cases can be resolved in an expeditious and cordial fashion but she is prepared to litigate with unwavering fervor should a mutually agreeable solution be out of reach. Corey Mehlos

During law school, Attorney Mehlos participated in the Wisconsin Innocence Project for three semesters, handling 10 post-conviction homicide and assault cases. He received outstanding training and mentorship from his Innocent Project supervising attorneys, which include two Innocence Project lawyers who have worked on Steven Avery’s DNA-based exoneration from his sexual assault conviction and one of Mr. Avery’s current post-conviction defense attorneys. With the Innocence Project, Attorney Mehlos learned advanced DNA testing theory while working with Dr. Greg Hampikian, one of the nation’s leading DNA experts. Attorney Mehlos’ relentless investigation in a case was the driving factor in his client being released from prison 26 years before his scheduled release date despite three prior attorneys being unable to achieve that result. Prior to joining Kaehne, Cottle, Pasquale & Associates, S.C., Attorney Mehlos practiced law in Wisconsin in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, family law, municipal law, trust and estates, and commercial transactions. He has won difficult cases that have allowed clients to be reunited with their families after months of legal separation, proven the innocence of a man facing three years in prison and extended supervision, and succeeded in protecting the rights of community members in a lawsuit against a multi-million dollar corporation, the first case he tried as a lawyer.
